Merry Christmas to All! Hope everyone has a blessed Christmas and a Joyous New Year!

Wednesday, December 21, 2005

Well I survived my families Christmas party. At one point we had 35 people in our house! Now I know not many of you have been to my house, but it isn't a mansion and 35 people was a bit crowded. But it was very nice. There was lots of food and conversation. I learned alot about my family and it was nice to have everyone together. This was the first year that someone from the "next" generation hosted and I was glad to be the first. Only 2 of my 5 brothers showed up, but that is a story for another day.

I don't have all of my shopping done. I know there is only 4 shopping day left, but working in retail has kinda left me unmotivated to shop. We are entrusting our kid's with a 14 year old babysitter for the first time ever tomorrow for a few hours so we can finish up.

I know this was kinda lame, I'm no Susie (lol) and I'm kinda whipped, I'll try harder next time.

I know it's been a while, but like Kish told ya....I've been busy! I'm working days now at work, which I love, but I'm wiped out by the time I get home. Also, Haley has joined Girl Scouts and it's been non-stop. Meetings, parades, parties. She loves it but her social schedule has been full! lol! We celebrated Christmas with my in-laws last night. It was very nice. They are going to visit family in Florida so they won't be around for the holidays. The kid's were very excited to get to open presents early. The best part was when Scott opened the last gift from his parents and he broke down. I mean cried and got up and hugged his mom and dad. I was a little lost until I realized what he had. It was the tape of our wedding in Las Vegas. You see, when we were married in Vegas we bought a package which included a photographer but not a videographer but they do it anyway and offer it to you when you pick up your pictures. They let you watch it and everything! But it was a bit expensive and we couldn't buy it. But they keep it on record for a year. On our first anniversary we were a bit sad to think that we wouldn't ever see our video again, but we really didn't have the money for it. Buying our first house and all. But Scott's mom bought it for us and has had it since April. I can not express has absolutely bless I feel. We watched it and cried. It was such a wonderful day! Best gift ever! Kinda makes up for all of her "Marie-ness". Merry Christmas!

Susie, it should be located by the Lactaid. That is the name brand, but don't waste your money, the store brand is just as good. Anyway, ask for Lactaid and then check out what else is available. I try to avoid taking my kid's to the store for that exact reason. I never get what I need and they get twice as much as they need! I have to post this like this, because this damn thing won't let me post in my comments!
